When researching issues or when someone from the NVision or Sendcloud support team is asking for detailed information, start by enabling logging. Go to the Sendcloud setup card. There you can enable Log Application Events and Log Errors. Logging Raised Events is an additional level of logging specifically for developers.
Once logging is enabled, then perform the action for which you want to capture detailed information. For example, if processing a shipment resulted in an error, reprocess that shipment. Navigate to the Sendcloud Log and locate the relevant entry. Click on the entry number to view more details. The payload is the information the application attempted to send to Sendcloud. The response is the data object returned by Sendcloud. When requested to provide more information for support, save both the payload and the response. Send this information to the support desk for further assistance.
