Once the installation of the extension is finished, in Business Central, go to My Settings by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner, and switch to the ChannelEngine Manager role.
To start the setup wizard, go to your role center and click on Administration > Setup Wizard action in the top menu. The Commerce 365 for ChannelEngine setup wizard will start and guide you through the configuration process.
Please enter your Commerce 365 App ID and App Secret. You should have received these details in an email after installing Commerce 365 for ChannelEngine. Don't have these details? Please check your spamfolder. Sometimes these emails end up there. Or contact us at [email protected] to request a new set of keys.
Please enter your ChannelEngine API keys.
To obtain your API keys, please follow the step below. There is also a video to guide you through this process.
- Login to your ChannelEngine Account and go to Settings > Merchant API Keys
- The API URL is shown at the top of this screen
- Now click Add and provide a name (e.g., “Business Central”) and click Add to save
- Your API key will be automatically generated
- Copy and paste the API URL and key in the fields in step 2 of the wizard
Now that both sets of credentials have been entered correctly, you have successfully connnected Business Central to ChannelEngine. Click Finish to end the Setup Wizard.
