Posting dialog
When posting a sales order, depending on your settings, Business Central will prompt you with several different options.
Action | Description |
Ship | Will create a posted sales shipment for the relevant order lines of the order. |
Ship and Send to EasyPost | Will create a posted sales shipment and a EasyPost shipment for the relevant lines of the order. |
Invoice | Will create a posted sales invoice for the relevant lines of the order. |
Ship and Invoice | Will create a posted sales shipment and posted sales invoice for the relevant lines of the order. |
Ship and Invoice and Send to EasyPost | Will create a posted sales shipment, a EasyPost shipment and posted sales invoice for the relevant lines of the order. |
The default behaviour of this dialog is set by the On Sales Post field on the EasyPost Setup Card.
If On Sales Post is set to Always or Manually, the Send to EasyPost options are not shown.
Parcels
After creating a EasyPost shipment for a given sales order, the created labels will be shown in the Labels factbox. This factbox contains the parcel number and the current status of the shipment at EasyPost. The same factbox is shown on the Posted Sales Shipment. You can navigate directly to the EasyPost Shipment Card by clicking on the parcel number.
